Our Story

Flourish AI was founded on the belief that the next generation of technology should not only be intelligent , it should be compassionate, intentional, and human-centred.

Born from the intersection of rigorous clinical research and thoughtful software development, Flourish AI is co-founded by Angel Chen, a DPhil in Psychiatry from the University of Oxford, and Tianpeng Gao, a seasoned full-stack developer with a passion for building meaningful, scalable systems. Together, we bring both scientific depth and technical precision to a shared mission:

Our first product, Flourify, embodies this vision by integrating AI to enhance human connection, not replace it. We believe that great tech shouldn’t manipulate behaviour. Instead, it should empower people to become more of who they already are. The idea that only addictive technology can retain users is not one we subscribe to. Technology can, and must, support human flourishing without sacrificing rigour, engagement, or trust.
